    It was reported that the Government will remove the remaining COVID-19 international travel restrictions for all passengers from today 18 March 2022 for arrivals into the UK

    How prepared are we though?

    At present, the booking pace is stable and not dropping (moving average is stable)

    Lead times from our sources are no more than 30days, so difficult to gauge winter sales but some ideas and insights below

    • Offer deals to all agents
    • Sales to contact all agents on GDS and offer stay pay or to connect at least
    • Winter promo via OTA’s seasonal campaigns when they come up for winter
    • DBB deals
    • Spa and Bed deal
    • Fitness, Spa , BB deal
    • Whichever deals are finalized to be promoted via
      • Paid ads (google)
      • Social media paid campaigns
      • Own web marketing & collateral
      • SMS/WhatsApp campaign
      • Email campaign to guest history

    Compare what you normally would have on the books for 2 quarters ahead vs the past, see where you are lagging and where you are ahead.

    Cash is where there is demand by expanding your efforts and rekindle the diminished segments
